GENERAL WARRANTY

FURNITURE 

I. Furniture usage instructions 

  1. The NOVUM Company’s products should be used in accordance with their intended purpose. 

  2. The furniture should be used indoors to be protected from exposure to hazardous conditions. Recommended conditions are a temperature of 15-30 ºC, humidity 40-65 %. The furniture should not be placed near heat sources; one should avoid its contact with water and direct sunlight. 

  3. Furniture assembly should be carried out in accordance with the attached assembly instructions 

  4. A proper levelling of furniture is required. 

  5. In order to move the furniture, one should remove its content, protect the movable parts (lift up to the transport). It is unacceptable to move the furniture directly on the floor. 

  6. One should inspect the furniture during usage and ensure that all connecting elements are tightened. 

  7. In order to ensure a proper operation of the amortization systems and the closing of drawers and fronts, one should close them with an appropriate force. Using too much force causes a limited functionality of the mechanisms, and such incidents, if occurring repeatedly, may lead to their damage. 

  8. Excessive load of furniture is unacceptable. Do not lean on or subject the furniture doors to excessive weight. 

  9. The drawer should be loaded evenly on the entire surface; one should no lean on it. In particular, one should avoid excessively loading the drawer near or by its front 

  10. The surface of the furniture should be protected from bruises and scratches; one should not expose it to sharp objects. 

  11. The maintenance should be performed only with furniture care products according to the instruction. During cleaning and maintenance of furniture one should use soft, dry or slightly moist fabrics as well as products intended for the maintenance of materials from which the furniture is made. Do not use unknown agents. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents and always read the producer’s notes on the product. 

  12. The Manufacturer is not responsible for mechanical damage caused by improper use. 

  13. In case of any doubts concerning the usage of the furniture, before performing any action described in this instruction, please contact the Distributor or the Manufacturer. 

II. Terms of warranty 

  1. The Manufacturer provides a two-year warranty on its products from the date of releasing the goods to the Purchaser. 

  2. The receipt of the product and lack of objections means that the Purchaser confirms the lack of physical defects of the delivered elements, whereas the Purchaser is obliged to exercise due diligence during receipt of the product and to report any noticed defects within fourteen days from the date of receipt. 

  3. The Contractor declares that the furniture does not contain physical defects and fulfils its intended function if it is used in normal conditions, in accordance with the intended use and preserving the basic principles outlined in the furniture usage instructions. 

  4. Colour and texture deviations of the wood or boards, which are the result of the technological process, are not considered as a defect. 

  5. If the Manufacturer finds the complaint justified, the warranty includes free repair or replacement of the product with a new one, free of defects. The Manufacturer shall choose the way of implementation of the rights under the warranty. 

  6. Where it becomes necessary to replace the goods or elements produced by using the materials that the Manufacturer no longer has in his offer, the Purchaser is obliged to select a substitute material or product at similar price from the current offer. 

  7. If there is a need to replace the elements or the entire product, a new warranty period (2 years) shall apply only to the replaced parts and shall be calculated from the date of its delivery. 

  8. The Purchaser shall lose the rights under the warranty if the furniture is used contrary to its purpose

  9. In matters not covered by this warranty, the following shall apply: Directive 1999/44/EC of 25 May 1999 on certain aspects of the sale of consumer goods and associated guarantees, and the Acts of 27 July 2002 on special conditions of consumer sales and amendments to the Civil Code - Civil Code of the Republic of Poland. 

III. Procedure in case of noticing any defects of goods 

  1. In case of noticing any defects of goods, the Purchaser shall immediately contact the Distributor in writing, whose duty is to verify the situation on the basis of the usage instructions and terms of warranty 

  2. The notification should include: 

- invoice or order number, 

- the Purchaser’s data with an exact address, phone number and e-mail to the contact person,
- the date of noticing the defect, 

- description of the defect, 

- photographic documentation of the noticed defect. 

  1. Upon receipt of the complaint, the Manufacturer / Distributor shall within 14 days perform one of the following actions: 

- accept the lodged complaint, arrange an appointment and deliver the defective part or product,
- if any unclear matters arise, will ask for additional information and the decision on how the complaint will be considered shall be made after their expertise, 

- will not accept the complaint and will present a possible cost calculation for a paid delivery of the defective parts.. 

  1. The Purchaser is obliged to cooperate with the Manufacturer / Distributor in handling of the complaint and in particular in collecting and providing the information necessary to unambiguously determine the cause and extent of the defect. 

  2. The Distributor / Manufacturer may demand the return of the defective product in order to verify the lodged complaint. 

  3. The necessary costs associated with performing warranty repairs shall be borne by the Manufacturer / Distributor. If it is found that the complaint is unjustified, all costs shall be borne by the Purchaser 

IV. Loss of privileges, disclaimer of warranties 

  1. The loss of warranty rights occurs in the event of an improper use of the product, particularly in the case of: 

- attempts to make repairs or alterations by persons unauthorized by the Manufacturer / Distributor, - using the furniture contrary to the intended usage, 

- improper climatic conditions, 

- improper maintenance and cleaning of the products e.g. by using improper agents for furniture care that contain substances that may affect the structure of the furniture, 

- damage caused by disassembling and reassembling the furniture set. 

  1. The following shall not be considered as defect: 

- situations in which the product has been damaged due to improper adjustment of the door fronts and furniture drawers, 

- defects, damage and lack of elements and accessories that were visible and could be detected during the receipt of the goods but had not been reported, 

- defects and damage due to which the price of the product was reduced, 

- characteristics resulting from the type of the used materials, where small differences are not a defect of the product but arise from the specificity of those materials and their natural properties,
- changes that occur naturally during an average (normal) use of the products, 

- mechanical and chemical damage, staining, discoloration, loss of colour intensity caused by light,
- creaking of products resulting from a loose joints or other reasons,
- other damage resulting of fortuitous events or other circumstances after the receipt of the goods 

  1. The Contractor ensures that the material as well as the used technique and production technology will provide you with comfort in the use of the purchased goods for a long time, provided that you comply with the remarks contained in the warranty and the usage instructions. 

FOAMS 

I. Manual / characteristic 

The product is made of high quality Eco-leather – Meditap. The Meditap fabric is a phthalate-free material, consistent with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 requirements, which meets the human-ecological requirements of the currently applicable standard of products for children. 

Method of maintaining the Meditap material (Eco-leather):

Allowed agents:

Daily soils 

Mild detergent, preferably a grey soap solution

Clean regularly with a sponge or soft cloth

In the end, wipe the cleaned spot with a moist cloth, then wipe dry (in order to remove any remains of the detergent)

Local heavy soils 

25% solution of ethyl alcohol

Gently rub with a soaked gauze pad

Disinfection 

Generally available disinfectants

Disinfect according to the producer’s notes on the agent

Warning! Before using an agent other than a mild detergent, check the effect on a hidden area of the product, and the cleaning itself should be performed carefully.


Information

Clean with a sponge

The Manufacturer does not recommend the use of cleaning agents for ecological leather (artificial leather)


The highest quality polyurethane foams with increased hardness VP 25/50 were used in the products,which results in a longer period of use (it has smaller permanent deformations). The foam manufacturermaintains the highest standards of environmental protection, health and safety 

Do not use sharp objects, tools – possibility of scratching, tearing up the fabric 

Do not bite, pull or throw. 

Products filled with granulate – in case of damage, there is a risk of choking on small partsBefore using the product by children, remove all packing materials

  3. Gymnastic equipment assembly should be carried out in accordance with the attached assembly instructions. 

  4. A proper levelling of equipment is required. 

  5. In order to move the product, one should remove its content, protect the movable parts (lift up to the transport). It is unacceptable to move the gymnastic equipment directly on the floor. 

  6. One should inspect the product during usage and ensure that all connecting elements are tightened. 

  7. Excessive load of the gymnastic equipment is unacceptable.
